School-Based Therapy

In an effort to provide mental health therapy services to students in schools in Salisbury, NC, Nazareth Child & Family Connection reached an agreement with the Rowan-Salisbury and Davidson County School Systems. Students are now eligible to receive school-based therapy after making an initial visit to the Nazareth Child & Family Connection office. This allows Nazareth Child & Family Connection to provide therapeutic care to students without forcing them to miss time in the classroom. The counselors from Nazareth Child & Family Connection work hard to maintain the confidentiality of students and will not speak with personnel at a child’s school about them without first obtaining written permission from a parent.

 

Suboxone Clinic

For those looking for an effective treatment for an addiction to opioids, Nazareth Child & Family Connection can provide a Suboxone (buprenorphine) clinic in Salisbury, NC.  Suboxone can be used as an alternative to methadone and has shown to help those battling substance abuse at the beginning of the recovery process. The counselors at Nazareth Child & Family Connection’s Suboxone clinic utilize a combination of outpatient therapy and medication management to treat both the physical and behavioral issues that those with substance abuse problems deal with.

Substance abuse intensive outpatient therapy involves 9 hours of individual and group therapy each week. Those patients who are fighting opioid addiction are often advised to consider using this form of substance abuse therapy in tandem with Nazareth Child & Family Connection’s Suboxone clinic.

 

Cost of Services and Clinics

Nazareth Child & Family Connection accepts most major insurances in addition to Medicaid and North Carolina Health Choice. Patients are asked to make co-pays and deductibles before services are rendered. All payments can be made either in cash or with a debit/credit card.
