Adoptions

Adoptions and Foster Care Help Change the World

The only way we can change our world is through our youth, one child at a time. Each year, so many children get abandoned or left behind due to unpredictable circumstances. The children left behind usually go through a lot of pain, and some may have PTSD from horrible situations. All these children want is someone to love them and pay attention to them. Everyone needs love, whether you are a child or an adult. Foster families usually end up adopting children they take into their home and family. The target population for adoption is 0-18, with no one left behind. Unfortunately, this is not always the case, but we try to accommodate everyone. There are guidelines for becoming a foster family, but the rewards are worth it. It helps mold the youth who would not have anyone otherwise.

Most of the children need psychiatric services due to the traumatic experiences they faced, which led them to become foster children. Not all of them have this issue, but some come from tough backgrounds that dealt with abuse, drugs, or neglect. It is where the foster families and professional help from psychiatric services build up their self-esteem. It is through talking things out and working through the fears of both the child and the foster family that brings them closer together. It leaves the child with a sense of belonging, and from there, love can grow. Once love grows in and on a child, they can grow up to make a difference by spreading that same love in the world.
